The Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS) is the central government agency in charge of government innovation, decentralization, balanced national growth, and public safety so that people can live safely, enjoy fair opportunities, and live well wherever they live.

The MOIS makes the following three promises to create the 'Republic of Korea, leaping forward again, a country of people living well together.'
First, we will operate a digital platform government so that people can easily and comfortably use all government services in one place.
Second, we will promote decentralization and balanced national growth for people to enjoy fair opportunities wherever they live.

Third, we will secure an advanced national disaster safety management system so that people can live safely from disasters.
