Vice Minister Kim, Nam Seok attended the opening ceremony of the 7th Working Group on Open and Innovative Government on November 28, 2011 at Lotte Hotel Seoul. Government officials and academics from the OECD countries including UK, Italy, Portugal, and Turkey, as well as Middle East and North African (MENA) countries (Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Tunisia, and UAE) participated in the meeting to share experiences in open data policies and innovative practices in public administration.
The two-day event was co-hosted by the OECD Secretariat and the Ministry of Public Administration and Security. The Working Group II Meeting is part of the MENA-OECD Governance Program to promote capacity building of public administration in MENA countries.
